Writing your first book can be daunting. Trying to publish it, even more so. Over the last few years I’ve been helping out fellow writers polish, finish, and query their newest novels. It’s a work of love, but it does take time and energy. If you need help with your book or current project, contact me (with a brief description of what you need help with) and we’ll set a fair and equitable price for my time. Below prices are estimates and can be discussed.

Beta Read/General Read

$250

I am happy to read your novel (up to 90,000 words) and give you overall advice about flow, plot holes/structure, systemic issues, and character enhancements. Allow 2-3 weeks after a contract is signed. A detailed report will be given to you and I’ll give you one round of follow up answers to any questions you might have.

Rewrite/Polishing

$150-$300

If you just need a particular section reworked or are looking for specific help with a handful of chapters or scenes, I will deep read those areas (up to 20,000) and offer advice on how to tweak or refine them to reflect the overall tone and theme of your work. For an extra fee ($300) I can beta read the entire book and offer specific advice on problem areas.
