Hey kids, here’s a little bit more about me.

I’m a novelist, poet, blogger and mom. I’m the author of the Southtown Harbor Series (Fixing Destiny, Finding Destiny, and Fighting Destiny) a trilogy of paranormal romances set in Maine. I’m also the co-author and editor of two fine poetry anthologies. I’ve contributed to several journals and publications including, The Fort Collins Coloradoan, Haunted Waters Press, Poetry Ireland Review, Sasee Magazine, Pixie Publishing’s “Scars” Anthology, and Raven’s Quoth Press Evermore 2.

Recently, 5 Prince Publishing has picked up my newest contemporary cowboy romance, set in my home state of Wyoming. The release of the first book is in May, with the others to follow in August and November. Check back here and in my announcements for tour dates and book signing opportunities. The series follows the trials and joys of three sisters from the small town of Sweet Valley Wyoming as they navigate the complexities of failure, forgiveness, and fortitude.

If you want a little taste of my writing check out my Blog page. “The Beautiful Stuff” is a blog dedicated to the promotion of creativity, and a realistic journey through self-care, human interaction, and living with passion. In addition to all that stuff, I’m a member of the Writing Heights Writers Association, Wyoming Writers, Inc. and am a member of and the Webmaster of WyoPoets. I’m the coordinator to the Youth Writing Program at WHWA and am always happy to encourage the next generation of writers.

I welcome any and all responses and encourages respectful questions, debates, and conversations. I always try to respond as promptly as possible, and if you’re a writer just starting out or long in the tooth, feel free to submit here for consideration in my yearly anthology.

Other than that, I have a herd of three cats, and a large pitbull/cattle dog who keep me up to my ears in messes, and cuddles. I have a neglected garden and two beautiful daughters who are navigating the perils of teenage-hood. My favorite escapes are writing, hiking, and traveling.
